Ingredients

  • 2 - potatoes, boiled, diced
  • 1 cup - peanuts, boiled, shelled
  • 1/4 cup - roasted peanuts, crushed coarsely
  • 1/2 cup - Pomegranate
  • 1/2 - apple, chopped and seasoned with Lemon juice
  • 1 - banana, chopped and seasoned with Lemon juice
  • 1 - green chilli, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - chaat masala or 1/4 tsp - black salt
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp - sugar, powdered
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon, extracted and strained
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Vrat Aloo Chaat:

    1. Mix lemon juice, chilli, sugar, chaat masala, cumin and salt.
    2. Beat well with a small spoon till flavours blend.
    3. Mix all other ingredients together in a large glass bowl.
    4. Drizzle the dressing prepared earlier over them and toss lightly to blend flavours.
    5. Serve immediately as an accompaniment or a snack.
