Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups - sago/sabudana
  • 1 - Potato
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - chopped Ginger
  • 3 tbsp - crushed Peanuts
  • 1 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • sugar, a pinch
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • How to Make Vrat ki sabudana khichadi:

    1. Chop potatoes into small pieces.
    2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin, and when it starts crackling, add peanuts and potatoes and mix.
    3. Cover and cook on low flame for 1.5 minutes. Keep stirring in between.
    4. Add green chillies, stir, and then add sabudana, salt, pepper powder, sugar and salt.
    5. Cook till the sabudana becomes translucent.
    6. Now, add lemon juice and fresh coriander and serve hot.
