Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - walnuts, crushed coarsely
  • 5 to 6 - green pistachios, crushed coarsely
  • 1 tsp - pineapple or plum or cherry jam or marmalade
  • 1 cup - table butter, softened well
  • 1 stalk - mint leaves, chopped
  • 1 - small green chilli, finely chopped

How to Make Walnut Butter

  • Run chilli and mint in small mixie to crush them.
  • Add butter and run to form a soft ball.
  • Take out and fold in crushed walnuts and pistachios.
  • Can be applied thickly on bread slices.
  • Can also accompany Indian breads like sheermal, parathas etc.
