Ingredients

  • 500 g - Flour/maida
  • 1 tsp - Active Dry yeast
  • 200 g - Chopped Walnut
  • 1/2 litre -Curds or plain yogurt
  • 2 - eggs beaten
  • 300 g - Sugar

How to Make Walnut Loaf

  • Dissolve the yeast in a little warm water.
  • Combine all the ingredients together and knead to a soft dough with the dissolved yeast and curds/plain yogurt.
  • Use a little more water if required .
  • Cover with a towel and set aside for 2 hours until the dough doubles in size.
  • Punch the dough down and sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
  • Bake in a moderate oven for 45 mins or until golden brown.
