  • 500 g - Flour/maida
  • 1 tsp - Active Dry yeast
  • 200 g - Chopped Walnut
  • 1/2 litre -Curds or plain yogurt
  • 2 - eggs beaten
  • 300 g - Sugar
  • How to Make Walnut Loaf:

    1. Dissolve the yeast in a little warm water.
    2. Combine all the ingredients together and knead to a soft dough with the dissolved yeast and curds/plain yogurt.
    3. Use a little more water if required .
    4. Cover with a towel and set aside for 2 hours until the dough doubles in size.
    5. Punch the dough down and sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
    6. Bake in a moderate oven for 45 mins or until golden brown.
