  • 1 cup - Wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup - Sweet Potatoes (cooked and smashed)
  • 1/4 cup - Sugar
  • 2 tbsp - roasted rava
  • 1/2 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsp - baking soda
  • a pinch of salt
  • oil for deep-frying
  • How to Make Wheat & Sweet Potato Bonda:

    1. Pour the wheat flour, smashed sweet potatoes, sugar, roasted rava, cardamom powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.
    2. Add enough water and prepare a thick and sticking dough.
    3. In the meantime, heat oil in a pan.
    4. When the oil is hot, make small balls of the dough.
    5. Drop the balls in the oil and fry until they turn golden brown.
    6. Serve hot.
