Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour - 1 cup
  • Red Chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
  • Heated oil - 1 tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Water as required
  • Garam Masala Powder (if required) - 1/2 tsp
  • How to Make Wheat Biscuit:

    1. Mix all the ingredients together except water.
    2. Add water little by little to the above mix and knead it to a roti dough.
    3. Make into medium sized balls.
    4. Roll each ball into a thin roti and cut it into diamond shaped pieces or any other preferred shape.
    5. Spread them on a thin plastic sheet or clean newspaper sheet.
    6. Each piece should be separate.
    7. Heat oil in a frying pan
    8. Put a handful of pieces at a time and fry until golden brown.
    9. Preserve in an air tight container.
