  • 2 tbsp - Wheat flour
  • 1 tsp - Ghee
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cups - Water
  • Hot Milk (sweetened or plain)
  • How to Make Wheat Flour Au Gratin:

    1. Roast the flour to an aromatic golden brown on low flame in a heavy saucepan.
    2. Stir continuously or the flour will burn.
    3. When the flour is done, add water and keep stirring continuously so that no lumps are formed.
    4. Add more water if required. Bring to a boil.
    5. Add ghee and salt.
    6. Simmer on low for 2-3 minutes. Stir frequently.
    7. Pour into porridge bowl.
    8. Serve piping hot with plain or sweetened hot milk to be mixed as desired.
    9. Stir in some corn flakes or other cereal as desired.
    10. Easy to consume during fever, cough, inflamed throat and ulcers.
