Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - white pumpkin/ash gourd
  • 2 - Onions (chopped finely)
  • 1 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 2 - medium Tomatoes (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • Salt to taste

How to Make White Pumpkin - Ash Gourd Curry

  • Remove the skin, wash and cut the white pumpkin/ash gourd into medium size pieces and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add onions and fry till golden brown.
  • Add the tomatoes chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, ginger and garlic paste and saute for a few minutes.
  • Add the white pumpkin/ash gourd and mix well.
  • Cook on low heat till the white pumpkin/ash gourd is cooked.
