Ingredients

  • 3 cups - ragi idiyappam (broken)
  • 1 cup - whole green moong dhal (soaked and cooked with a pinch of salt)
  • 1/2 cup - onion (chopped)
  • 3 -red chilli or adjust to your taste
  • 1 tsp - mustard
  • 1/2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tbsp - coconut (optional)
  • Salt
  • Curry Leaf

How to Make Whole Green Moong Ragi Idiyappam

  • In a pan, add oil. Pop mustard. Then add the red chillies. Fry for few seconds.
  • Now, add the chopped onion. Fry till it turns to golden brown.
  • Add the cooked whole green moong dhal. Mix well.
  • Now, switch off the stove. Add the broken Idiyappam.
  • Add salt and coconut. Mix completely.
  • Garnish with curry leaf.
  • Serve immediately or later.
