Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Maida
  • 2 cups - Wheat flour or atta
  • a pinch - Salt
  • 4 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1 cup - Sugar

How to Make Whole wheat Khurma

  • Make a stiff dough of the maida and wheat flour, ghee and salt.
  • Roll out into 1 inch thick rotis.
  • Cut into small squares.
  • Heat ghee in a pan and Deep Fried the cut squares till golden.
  • Boil sugar to get a thick two-strand syrup.
  • Dip the fried squares in the syrup and leave it for 5 mins.
  • Drain, cool and serve.
