  • 1 cup - mix of flax, sesame and pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup - olive oil
  • 1 tbsp - chilli flakes
  • 2 tbsp - dry active yeast
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1 tsp - sugar
  • 1+1/2 cup - lukewarm water
  • Flour - for dusting

How to Make Whole Wheat Multi-Seeds Bread

  • Mix the yeast, salt and sugar in lukewarm water, stir well and leave in a warm place for a few minutes until the yeast turns foamy.
  • Take the whole wheat flour, mixed seeds and chilli flakes in a mixing bowl.
  • Make a well in the centre and gradually add olive oil and foamy yeast.
  • Knead into a soft dough.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover the bowl with a towel and keep in a warm place for an hour.
  • In one hour, the dough would have doubled in volume.
  • Punch down the dough, dust with wheat flour, and knead gently.
  • Shape the dough into a disc, score the top with a knife and dust some flour over it.
  • Place the loaf on a baking tray lined with baking paper and keep in a warm place for half an hour.
  • Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 350 F.
  • Once it has risen, bake the bread for 20-25 minutes until the crust is brown and firm.
  • Serve with cheese spread or with soups.
