Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - fruit pulp
  • 1 tsp - Sugar
  • 1 pinch Cardamom powder or
  • 1 drop vanilla essence (optional)
  • 2-3 tbsp - cooked Rice
  • 1 slice Wheat or Milk bread
  • 2 tbsp - sweetened Milk

How to Make Wholesome Rice in Fruit Pulp

  • Prepare coarse pulp from any desired fruit by just mashing with fork.
  • You may use mango, banana, chickoo, papaya, strawberry etc.
  • Use a transparent small bowl so kids can see the layers.
  • Place slice of bread at bottom (remove crust keep aside)
  • Sprinkle the milk over it.
  • Mix together rice, pulp, sugar, cardamom.
  • Pour over bread slice, set in fridge to chill.
  • Make crumbs of crust, sprinkle over mixture.
  • Serve chilled on a hot summer afternoon.
