  • 2 cups - yam, cubed and cooked with Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 cup - frozen Methi leaves, crushed
  • 4 tbsp - gram flour
  • 3 tbsp - Rice flour
  • 1 tbsp - Corn flour
  • 3 - Garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tsp - Fennel seed powder
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - for deep frying
  • How to Make Yam and Methi Pakodas:

    1. Mix the cooked yam, crushed methi leaves, gram flour, rice flour, corn flour, crushed garlic, fennel seed powder, red chilli powder and salt in a bowl.
    2. Sprinkle some water and mix everything well until the vegetables are well coated with the flour.
    3. Heat oil for deep frying.
    4. Into the hot oil, gently drop the flour-coated yam pieces one by one.
    5. Fry until they turn golden brown.
    6. Drain the excess oil on a paper towel and serve immediately.
