Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - Yam (peeled and cut into medium pieces)
  • 2 tbsp - cooking oil
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 2 - large Onions (chopped)
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp - Vinegar
  • 2 - large Tomatoes (chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Yam And Tomato Vindaloo:

    1. Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions till golden brown.
    2. Add the garlic paste, tomato, cumin powder, chilli powder and vinegar and fry for a few minutes.
    3. Add the yam and 2 cups of water and simmer on low heat till the yam is cooked.
