Ingredients

  • 1 cup - raw Rice
  • 1/2 cup - grated Coconut
  • 1/3 cup - Jaggery powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • Ghee or oil to fry
  • How to Make Yeriappa:

    1. Soak rice in water for 2 hours.
    2. Drain and grind with coconut and jaggery to smooth batter as for dosa. Add cardamom powder.
    3. Heat ghee or oil for deep frying.
    4. Drop ladle full of batter in moderately hot oil.
    5. The batter will set in round shape and puff like poori.
    6. Fry on both sides till golden brown.
    7. Drain well on kitchen paper. Serve warm or cooled.
