How to Make

  • Heat oil in a pan, add little oil in it. Add the items mentioned for paste and fry very lightly for a few seconds and switch off flame.
  • Add chilli powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder and mix well.
  • When it cools down grind to make a smooth paste.
  • Heat about 2 tbsp oil in the saucepan.
  • Fry the finely cut onions till golden.
  • In the meantime, heat a griddle, roughly grease with oil.
  • Place the paneer cubes and fry both sides till golden, and set aside.
  • After the onions turn out golden, add the bell pepper and fry lightly.
  • Then add the blended paste and paprika and fry a couple of minutes.
  • Add the tomato paste and fry for a while.
  • Add peas, salt and cook till the peas are cooked.
  • Then add the paprika powder, sour cream, kasoori methi, mix well.
  • Let cook some more.
  • Turn off and serve hot with rotis or rice.
