Ingredients

  • Basmati Rice - 2 cups.
  • Peas - 1/2 cup.
  • Water - 3 cups.
  • Ghee - 1/4 cup.
  • oil - 1/4 cup.
  • Green chillies - 6, finely chopped.
  • Ginger - 10 g, finely chopped.
  • Whole spices - 2 each.
  • Onion - 2, medium pieces.
  • Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup.
  • Cashews - 1/4 cup, roasted.
  • How to Make Yummy Peas Pulao:

    1. Soak the rice. Then cook it, adding salt, and keep aside.
    2. In a kadai, heat ghee and oil. Add the whole spices and saute.
    3. Add chopped onions and fry till golden brown.
    4. Then add chopped ginger, green chillies and saute for a minute.
    5. Add peas and salt.
    6. Put the rice and cook on high flame for 5-7 minutes.
    7. Garnish with coriander leaves and cashews.
    8. Serve hot with any spicy side dish.
