Ingredients

  • 1 cup - basmati Rice
  • 1 Carrot
  • 3 to 4 - beans
  • 1/4 cup - Cabbage
  • 1 medium sized - onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp - spring onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 - capsicum, chopped fine
  • 1 tsp - soya sauce
  • 2 tsp - pepper
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tbsp - Olive oil
  • Salt, as required

How to Make Zesty Vegetable fried rice

  • Pressure cook rice with required water and keep aside.
  • Heat oil and olive oil in a kadai. Add onions and garlic saute for 2 mins.
  • Then add spring onions and fry till it turns brown.
  • Add carrots, beans and cabbage and saute till they shrink and raw smell leaves.
  • Add capsicum and saute with the veggies for 2 mins.
  • Then add soya sauce, pepper powder and required salt in high flame.
  • Keep stirring continuously for 10 seconds.
  • Then simmer until the veggies are well blended with the sauce and fried well.
  • Now add the cooked rice and mix well. Let the rice fry for another 3-4 mins.
  • Garnish with spring onions (optional) and switch off.
  • Serve hot with tomato sauce or gobi Manchurian.
