Walter Pais came back to Mumbai in 1985 after working in the Gulf and started composing music for the Catholic Church, and conducted a polyphonic choir in his parish, for seven years.
In 2000, he suffered a stroke and later underwent a heart surgery. These illnesses made him home bound and during this time he learnt the HTML language and developed his website
Mangalorean Recipes.
Walter has tried to share his experiences and knowledge with his fellowmen, with the hope that they will find some use for it.
