Ingredients

  • 250 g - mushroom
  • 500 g - onions
  • 4 - tomatoes
  • Pinch of turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 3/4 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • 1 tsp - fresh cream
  • 2 tbsp - Oil
  • 3 tsp 4 - garlic cloves

How to Make Indian-style Mushrooms

  • Wash the mushrooms and keep aside.
  • Chop onions and tomatoes.
  • Make a paste of half the onions and garlic cloves.
  • Heat oil in a pan and stir fry the onion-garlic paste till pink.
  • Add turmeric, chilli, coriander powder and salt.
  • Sprinkle 1 tbsp water and fry the masala mixture.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and stir fry till tender.
  • Add mushrooms and rest of the onions, mix well.
  • Cover the pan with a lid and cook till onions are soft.
  • Open the lid, sprinkle garam masala and fold the mixture.
  • Garnish with cream and serve hot.
