Ingredients

  • FULL FAT YOGHURT  550 GRAMS

  • CONDENSED MILK  400 GRAMS
  • MILK POWDER        80 GRAMS
  • SWEET POTATO      200 GRAMS
  • FINELY GRATED ZEST OF AN ORANGE  10 GRAMS
  • GINGER POWDER 8 GRAMS
  • CINNAMON POWDER  2 GRAMS
  • STAR ANISE POWDER 2 GRAMS
  • SUGAR  250 GRAMS

     

How to Make SWEET POTATO BAKED YOGHURT

  • THE PREP WORK  

    WASH AND PEEL SWEET POTATOES, RUB IT WITH GINGER, STAR ANISE, CINNAMON POWDERS IN A BAKE DISH WITH A COVER OR SEAL IT WITH FOIL. BAKE IT AT 220 DEGREES CELSIUS FOR AN HOUR. ONCE IT IS DONE, MASH IT ADD SOME BUTTER AND LEAVE IT .

    ALSO LEAVE THE YOGHURT IN A  MUSLIN CLOTH TO REMOVE THE EXTRA MOISTURE.

    PRE HEAT THE OVEN TO 180 DEGREE CELSIUS.  

    THE BAKING  

    IN A MIXING BOWL OR  STAND MIXER PUT ALL THE INGREDIENTS ON A SLOW SPEED TILL IT GETS CREAMY AND SPECIALLY THE SWEET POTATO .

    EMPTY INTO A BAKING DISH OR RAMEKIN CERAMIC OR CAST IRON OVEN PROOF DISH. PLACE THE DISH IN A HIGH SIDED ROASTING TRAY AND FILL THE TRAY WITH HOT WATER TO ABOUT 3/4 OF THE WAY UP THE SIDES. BAKE FOR 60 MINUTES UNTIL STARTING TO TURN GOLDEN AND SET.

    REMOVE FROM THE OVEN, TAKE OUT THE WATER BATH AND ALLOW TO COOL TO ROOM TEMPERATURE. THIS CAN BE SERVED WARM ,HOT OR  CHILLED AND EACH CARRIES A DIFFERENT TEXTURE IN EACH FORMAT OF SERVICE
