Ingredients

  • 12 pieces paneer cubes
  • 1/2 tbsp oil
  • For spice paste:
  • 6 mint leaves or a few more
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp sour curd
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • Salt - to taste

How to Make Tawa fried paneer

  • Add the spice paste to the cubed paneer and mix well.

  • Keep it as such for 30 minutes.
  • Arrange marinated paneer pieces in a tawa.
  • Pour oil around each piece.
  • Let the paneer fry on one side on medium flame for a few minutes.
  • Turn it around and let the other side also fry till crisp.
  • Remove from tawa and place it on a kitchen towel so that the excess oil is absorbed.
  • Serve hot with a piece of lemon and onion.
