Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 1 (cut into big florets)
  • Green chillies - 2
  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Black mustard seeds - 3 tbsp
  • Khus khus - 4 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Mustard oil - 2 tbsp
  • Hing - 1 pinch
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Achari Gobhi

  • Make paste of mustard seeds and khus khus, adding a little water.
  • Chop the green chillies and mix all ingredients together, including oil.
  • Keep the vessel over a low flame, covered.
  • Cook for 15 minutes or until gobi becomes tender.
  • Serve hot with rice.
