Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - raw rice/pachari
  • 1/2 cup - urad dal
  • 1/2 cup - tur dal
  • 1/2 cup - Bengal gram dal/channa dal
  • 25 - dry red chilli
  • 1/2 tsp - asafoetida
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry leaves
  • Oil

How to Make Ada dosa

  • Soak dal, rice and chillies for 3 hours and grind them with enough water.
  • Add asafoetida, curry leaves and salt to ground paste and mix well. Heat a tava, spread some oil and pour a spoonful of batter.
  • Sprinkle some oil on top and sides of the dosa and cook.
  • Turn over and cook again.
