Ingredients

  • 200 g - almonds
  • 150 g - sugar
  • 100 g - khoya (mava)
  • 1 cup - milk
  • 2 tbsp - pure ghee
  • 1 tbsp - wheat flour
  • 15 to 20 raisins
  • ½ tsp - cardamom powder
  • a pinch yellow edible color

How to Make Almond Halwa

  • Soak the almonds overnight, remove the skin and make a fine paste.
  • Heat ghee in a pan, fry the wheat flour and add the almond paste till it becomes golden brown.
  • Fry the khoya in another pan till it becomes pink. Heat the milk and add sugar.
  • Add the almond paste and fried khoya and mix well.
  • Mix the raisins with cardamom powder.
  • Sprinkle on the almond and khoya mixture.
  • Nutritious almond halwa is ready to serve.
