Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites, beaten stiff
  • 8 tbsp - rice power
  • 1/2 tsp - almond essence
  • 2&1/2 cups - almond powder
  • 2&1/2 cups - ground sugar
  • 1.5 cups - whipped sweetened cream

How to Make Almond macaroons

  • Mix almond powder, rice powder and sugar.
  • Put in essence.
  • Gently mix egg whites and make a thick batter.
  • Line a large baking tray with a greased greaseproof paper.
  • Put small blobs of mixture on it and bake in a pre-heated oven for 15 to 20 mins. Remove.
  • Cool and serve with whipped cream.
