Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - peas
  • 2 - potatoes
  • 1 - tomato
  • 1 - onion
  • 4 - cashew nuts
  • 2 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 - glass water
  • 3 tsp - oil

How to Make Aloo matar

  • Cut potatoes into cubes.
  • Grind chopped onion, tomato, cashew nuts and mix with cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and some water.
  • Heat oil, fry potatoes and keep aside.
  • Add peas and masala paste and fry on medium heat for 2-3 min.
  • Add fried potatoes, mix and add water.
  • Cover with a lid and cook for 10-15 min. Serve
