  • 4 - capsicums
  • 500g - potatoes
  • 3 - tomatoes
  • 3 - onions
  • 4 - green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin seed powder
  • 2 tbsp - raw peanuts, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp - ghee
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala

How to Make Aloo Mirchi

  • Halve the capsicums and remove the pith and seeds.
  • Boil the potatoes, peel and mash.
  • Chop tomatoes and slice the onions.
  • Heat the ghee in a pan and fry onions till translucent.
  • Add tomatoes and peanuts, and fry for a minute.
  • Now add green chillies, cumin seed powder and salt to taste and cook for a couple of minutes.
  • Add the potatoes and fry for a minutes.
  • Now add garam masala. Mix well.
  • Cool and stuff into the capsicums.
  • Put in grill for 15 minutes, or bake in a hot oven.
