Ingredients

  • 1/2 liter - sour buttermilk
  • 1 - onion
  • 4 - green chillies
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • A pinch of turmeric
  • For paste:
  • 1 tsp - toor dal
  • 1 tsp - dhaniya
  • 1/4 tsp - methi seeds

How to Make Andhra Kadhi

  • Take a pan and put 3 tsp oil in it.
  • Add mustard, curry leaves, chopped onion and green chillies. Fry for some time.
  • Soak all ingredients for paste in water for 1/2 hour and grind it.
  • Mix all the ingredients to butter milk and add this to onions.
  • Add in turmeric and chilli powder and cook for 1/2 hour.
