  • 4 dry anjeer (figs)
  • 1 tbsp - walnut pieces
  • 1 tbsp - cashew pieces
  • 1 cup - mawa (khoya)
  • 1/2 cup - sugar
  • 1/2 tsp - cardamom powder

How to Make Anjeer Barfi

  • Boil the sugar with a little water.
  • When the sugar has melted completely add the mawa and anjeer pieces.
  • When anjeer is completely cooked, add mawa and stir well.
  • When it thickens put the walnut and cashew pieces.
  • Add the cardamom powder. Mix well. Put off the heat.
  • When it cools down a little, pour in a greased thali.
  • Flatten, allow it to set and make pieces.
