  • 2 cup-rice
  • 1 cup - grated coconut
  • 1/2 tsp - sugar
  • 1.5 tsp - yeast

How to Make Appam with coconut

  • Soak rice for 2 hours and grind it with grated coconut and enough water.
  • Add yeast and sugar and keep aside for 2 hours.
  • When it ferments, take 1 big spoon of the mix and pour it in a shallow pan (appam pan) and cover it and cook like dosa.
