Ingredients

  • golden apple - 1 cup, chopped (do not peel)
  • red apple - 1 cup, chopped (do not peel)
  • carrot - 1 cup, coarsely grated
  • cooked rajma (red kidney beans) - 1 cup
  • spring onion - 1 cup, chopped
  • lime juice - 2 tbsp
  • raisins - ½ cup
  • honey - 2 tbsp
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • sesame seeds - 3 tbsp, roasted
  • freshly crushed black pepper
  • salt to taste

How to Make Apple and Raisin Salad

  • Mix both the apples together and toss in the lime juice.
  • Combine it with raisins, carrot, chick peas and spring onion.
  • Prepare a dressing by mixing together, honey, olive oil, salt and pepper.
  • Pour it over the salad and sprinkle roasted sesame seeds on top.
