Apple Crisp is a simple and wonderful dessert made with universally loved fruit, apple, as the main ingredient. 

This crispy dessert is loved by kids. Butter, sugar, flour and salt are combined well to form a crumbly mixture. Place the sliced apples, after adding cinnamon and lemon juice to them, in the baking dish.  

This mouth-watering dessert tastes extra delicious when served with a scoop of ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 150 gms. butter
  • 200 gms. brown sugar
  • A pinch salt
  • 75 gms. refined flour
  • 4 apples
  • 1 tbsp. water
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice

How to Make Apple Crisp

  • Mix butter, sugar, salt and flour till crumbly. Peel, core and slice apples.
  • Place in an oiled baking dish. Add water and cinnamon and lemon juice. Cover with flour mixture.
  • Bake at 190 degrees C for about 1 hour till the apples are tender. Serve with thin cream.
