Ingredients

  • 2 cups - rolled oats
  • 1 cup - besan
  • 5-6 - dried apricots
  • 8-10 - dates, chopped and soaked in 2 tsp warm milk
  • 1/4 cup - flax seeds
  • 2 tsp - sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup - cashew nuts
  • 1/2 cup - peanuts, roasted and skinned
  • 1/2 cup - raisins
  • 1 tsp - cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp - ghee/ butter

How to Make Apricot and Dates Laddoo

  • Roast besan till light brown.
  • In the same pan, roast oats and mix with besan.
  • Roast sesame seeds and mix with the oat and besan mixture.
  • In another bowl, mix nuts, cardamom powder, flax seeds and roasted peanuts.
  • In a third bowl, mix together dates, apricots and raisins.
  • Grind the oats-chickpea mix to a coarse powder.
  • Add nuts, cardamom powder, flax seeds and roasted peanuts and grind again.
  • Blend the dates-apricots to make a solid dough.
  • Roll and round into lemon-sized balls.
  • Refrigerate the laddoos.
  • Warm for 10 secs in microwave before serving.
