Ingredients

  • Asparagus - 1 bunch
  • Sesame powder - 2.5 tbsp
  • Aamchur powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Coriander - to garnish
  • Coarsely grated coconut - to garnish
  • Chilli powder - to taste
  • Turmeric powder - to taste
  • Jeera powder - to taste
  • Coriander powder - to taste
  • Salt - to taste
  • Sugar - to taste
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds

How to Make Asparagus Bhrata

  • Cut asparagus into 1/2 inch pieces. Pressure cook them for about 6-7 whistles.
  • Take them out, mash well and keep aside.
  • Take oil in a flat pan. Let it heat.
  • Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let it splatter.
  • Add all the masala powders and the mashed asparagus.
  • Let it cook for 6-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add sugar and sesame powder and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander and coconut.
