Ingredients

  • 1 bunch - asparagus
  • 1 tsp - mustard
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - urad dal
  • 2-3 - garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup - curd
  • salt to taste

How to Make Asparagus Raita

  • In a large skillet, heat a little oil.
  • Add mustard, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, dried red chilli or red chilli powder, urad dal, and finely chopped garlic.
  • Add asparagus (cut into 1 inch pieces) and fry until tender but not too soft.
  • Turn off and allow it to cool a little.
  • Add curds and salt to taste.
  • Enjoy as a side dish.
