  • 10 - bajjis (assorted)
  • 1 - onion, diced
  • 2 or 3 - green chillies, slit lengthwise
  • 2 tsp - ginger garlic paste
  • 1 - tomato, diced
  • 1/4 tsp each - cumin seeds, cloves and cardamom
  • Grind to a paste:
  • 2 tsp - grated coconut
  • 1 tsp - split chana dal

How to Make Assorted Bajji Curry

  • Prepare potato, capsicum, onion bajjis and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a kadai. Temper cumin seeds, cloves and cardamom.
  • Saute till the onions turn golden brown in colour.
  • Add green chillies and ginger garlic paste.
  • Add diced tomatoes and cook for a while.
  • Spoon in the ground coconut paste and blend it well.
  • Quarter the bajjis and add them.
  • Simmer, add salt for taste.
  • Once done, garnish with coriander leaves.
