Ingredients

  • 1 packet- Baby spinach salad (in most markets in US you get the prewashed variety, that works best because it is not soggy)
  • 1 large cucumber - sliced
  • 2 large tomatoes - cut into large chunks
  • 2 hot peppers - cut into large chunks
  • 10 almonds - microwave almonds for one minute , cool and then slice
  • Optional :
  • carrots cut into pieces
  • grapes or oranges
  • black olives - canned - drained and washed
  • Dressing:
  • 2 table spoons extra virgin olive oil
  • half cup orange juice
  • 1/2 tsp- garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp- each ginger and garlic paste
  • salt, sugar, black pepper powder and chilli powder - to taste

How to Make Baby Spinach Salad

  • Mix the salad ingredients.
  • Separately, mix the dressing very well and pour over salad.
