Ingredients

  • 100 g - almonds
  • 2 cups - milk
  • 1/2 cup - sugar
  • 25 g - khus khus (poppy seeds)
  • 25 g - melon seeds
  • 10 g - saunf (fennel seeds)
  • 2 tbsp - pure ghee

How to Make Badam Nishashta

  • Soak the almonds, peel the skin and make a fine paste.
  • Take khus khus, fennel seeds and melon seeds and make a fine paste and mix with all the almond paste.
  • Heat ghee in a pan, add the ready mixture and stir for 2 mins.
  • Mix the sugar and milk and let it become thick.
  • Add the ready mixture and stir for a while. Serve hot.
