  • 175 gms. dried prunes
  • 175 gms. dried apricots
  • 6 bananas, quartered
  • A few raisins, stoned
  • 4 tbsp. honey
  • Butter for greasing
  • 400 ml. fresh orange juice
  • Grated rind of 1 lemon
  • 4 tbsp. cream for garnishing

How to Make Baked Fruit Salad

  • Soak the prunes and apricots in warm water for several hours, or overnight. Butter a large, flat ovenproof dish and arrange the fruits in it.
  • Add the honey to the orange juice and mix it well, then pour it over the fruits. Sprinkle the lemon rind over the fruits.
  • Bake in the centre of the oven at 180 degrees C for about 30 minutes. Cool. Serve with pouring cream.
