  • 500g semolina
  • 125g butter
  • 1 can (400 g) - sweetened condensed milk
  • Finely chopped almonds
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 5 tbsp milk powder
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • juice from 1 orange
  • water

How to Make Baked Semolina Cake

  • Preheat oven at 180 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, cream condensed milk, sugar and butter.
  • Fill the empty can of condensed milk with water.
  • Gradually add the water and semolina alternatively.
  • Mix well after each addition.
  • Finally add baking powder, orange juice and chopped almonds.
  • Turn out into a 20 cm greased round cake mould.
  • Bake for about 30 mins.
  • Cool completely and remove from mould.
  • Serve with coffee or tea.
