  • 1 cup - all-purpose flour ( maida )
  • 3/4 th cup - jaggery
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Ripe banana - half
  • Oil

How to Make Banana Appam

  • Mix maida with jaggery, mashed banana and cardamom powder and make a thick batter.
  • Heat oil in a deep pan for frying.
  • Drop spoonful of prepared batter into the hot oil. Serve.
