Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - boneless chicken
  • 1 - onion, chopped finely
  • 1 tsp - chopped ginger
  • 2 tbsp - chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 - green chillies chopped
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1/2 tbsp - cumin powder
  • 4 tbsp - corn flour
  • 4 tbsp - plain flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying.

How to Make Batter Fried Chicken (Crispy version)

  • Parboil the chicken in a little water and a pinch of salt.
  • Strain and reserve the stock.
  • Make a batter with all the ingredients with a little of the chicken stock.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Dip the chicken pieces in the batter one at a time and Deep Fried till golden brown.
  • Serve hot.
