  • 2 - chicken, total 8 pieces
  • 4 tsp - pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp - butter
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • 5 tbsp - lime juice
  • 3 tbsp - corn flour.

How to Make Batter Fried Chicken

  • Beat each chicken piece with a large knife or cleaver and then flatten with a rolling pin.
  • Marinate the flattened chicken with the pepper powder, salt and lime juice and keep aside for one hour.
  • Mix in the corn flour and one tbsp butter.
  • Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan and fry each chicken piece separately on medium heat till tender.
  • After all the pieces are fried put them back in the pan, add 2 tbsp butter and saute the chicken for about 5 mins on low heat.
  • Serve.
