  • 1.5 cups - fresh basil leaves
  • 3/4 cup - olive oil
  • 3 tbsp - white vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3/4 cups - grated parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 tsp - salt
  • Several lettuce leaves
  • 4 cups - bean sprouts
  • 2 large tomatoes sliced round

How to Make Bean sprout tomato salad topped with pesto

  • Pesto: Blend basil, oil, vinegar, garlic, cheese and salt in a food processor until smooth.
  • Salad: Line a salad plate with lettuce. Spread the bean sprouts cover it. Place the sliced tomatoes over the bean sprouts. Spoon the pesto over the salad and serve.
