Ingredients

  • Beans - 200 g
  • Channa dal - 1 cup
  • Coconut (grated) - 1/2 cup
  • Red chilli - 3
  • Salt to taste
  • Hing -A pinch
  • Oil - 3 tsp

How to Make Beans Paruppu Usili

  • Soak the channa dal for an hour and grind along with coconut, red chillies and hing.
  • Boil the beans.
  • Heat 3 teaspoon of oil in a kadhai and add the dal paste.
  • Cook well with a little salt for 7-10 minutes.
  • Add the boiled beans and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
