  • 1 cup - beaten rice (poha)
  • 1 1/2 cup - skimmed milk curd
  • 1 mango, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/4 tsp saffron
  • Sugar to taste
  • Almond flakes for garnishing

How to Make Beaten rice pudding

  • Wash beaten rice well, mix it with curd and allow to rest for two hours.
  • If the rice has absorbed most of the curd, you could add a little more to make the dish wet again.
  • Mix sugar, cardamom powder and saffron.
  • Garnish with chopped mangoes or any seasonal fruit and almond flakes. Serve cold.
