  • 1 cup - beetroot chopped
  • 1 cup - paneer, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup - sugar
  • 5 ml - whole milk
  • 1 tsp - rose water
  • 2 tbsp - ghee
  • 2/3 cups +1 tbsp - flour

How to Make Beetroot paneer Burfi

  • Grind beetroot to a smooth paste with 45 ml milk
  • Add crumbled paneer and grind smoothly
  • Heat a non-stick pan with ghee and pour this ground mix and cook on medium heat for 5 to 7 mins
  • Add the sugar and flour, mix well to remove lumps and continue to cook for 12 to 15 mins
  • Grease a tray and set aside
  • Cool the mixture, then grease palm and knead it for 2 mins and place it on the greased tray, pat it down and cut to desired shapes.
  • Set for few hours and place in an airtight jar.
