Ingredients

  • 2 - beetroots
  • 2 - potatoes
  • 50 g - soya granules
  • 1 tsp - cornflour
  • Salt as per taste
  • oil for cooking

How to Make Beetroot Surprise

  • Boil the beetroot and potatoes, and mash.
  • Soak the soya bean granules in lukewarm water for 30 mins and then squeeze out the water.
  • Mix the soya granules with the mashed beetroot, potato and salt. Make small balls.
  • Make a thin paste with cornflour and water.
  • Heat oil in the pan. Dip each ball in the cornflour paste and deep Fry it.
