  • channa Dal - half cup
  • Fennel Seeds - half spoon
  • Red chillies - 4
  • Onion - 1 (medium sized)
  • Curry Leaves
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt according to taste

How to Make Beetroot Vada

  • Soak chana Dal in water for half an hour. Grate the beet root.
  • Chop the onion finely.
  • Grind chana dal, fennel seeds and red chillies to coarse paste.
  • Mix onion, salt and Curry leaves to it.
  • Make small balls and flatten it with your hand.
  • Deep fry in oil.
